In Shower

I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. As someone who colors their hair blonde every 6 weeks, I do my best to keep the color in tact and my locks as healthy as possible. My granma has been a hair stylist my entire life so I have the inside scoop on the best products. Woohoo! If you are also blonde and looking for a great purple shampoo to keep the brass at bay, I love the Kerastase purple shampoo. I actually mix this with equal parts of the Fanola shampoo. I do this because I am obsessed with the smell of the Fanola shampoo and I love how it suds. That may sound silly, but it works for me.

If you don't want to overcomplicate things and don't want to opt for a purple shampoo, I recommend the Joico K-Pak shampoo and conditioner set. I've been using them for years and your hair will feel like silk after using these.

If I'm washing once a week, I like to condition with the Joico Defy Damage Protective Masque. This isn't a product you want to use every single night but use it once a week and you will notice a difference in one wash. If you feel like you are in desperate need of a reset, I recommend Olaplex. A concentrated treatment that strengthens the hair from within, reducing breakage and improving its look and feel. It's not a conditioner, it's a treatment. It restores healthy appearance and texture.

Post Shower

As soon as I get out of the shower I gently wring out most of the water and immediately apply the Prep Rally Detangler. I am so in love with the product. Not only does it detangle, but it also preps your hair for heat and protects it. If I am going for a volume day, which is every time I style my hair, I apply both the BB Thickening Go Big Treatment and Blow Dry Creme.

From here, I'm ready to blow dry and start styling.

Styling

Clean hair is the hardest to style so I always apply the Verb Texture spray as soon as my hair is dry. This makes a HUGE difference in my hair keeping a curl and being able to grab hold of the strands when styling. After applying as much as needed, styling, and finishing up, I apply the verb ghost oil at my ends and maybe a tiny bit at the top to tame frizz. If I need a bit more volume I go in with the Living Proof Dry Shampoo and finish up with my favorite hairspray, Kenra! All styling tools are linked below.
