Witch Breakfast '22
The Annual Witch Breakfast is a tradition of ours that's been going for almost a decade now!!! Each year, we dress up in our best witch attire and gather for a morning of good food, games and most of all great company!! Although there are a few young witches (and wizard) that are usually in the mix, this is for the grown up witches and totally planned with that in mind!! This year's decorations were haunting in the very best way! Each table had a different spooky centerpiece ranging from a witch's cauldron to melted candles to bottles of potions. We always start the breakfast off with a group cackle and then each witch has a chance to showcase her own individual cackle (I've gotten pretty good at it)! Next, my Mom usually plans some sort of game while the ladies (witches) are eating. This year included a few good Halloween jokes and a game of Dead or Alive. In the past we've played Halloween versions of Mad Libs, Would You Rather, Name the Halloween Movie Quote, etc. Another fun addition this year was "Which Broomstick Is Right For You?" which allowed each witch to figure out the best fit (see below). After breakfast we finished up with an easy Halloween Spider Web Wreath craft. Lastly, we always have a sweet treat to take away and this year's cookies were not only the cutest but they tasted delicious. Another successful year and wickedly good time!! If you followed my stories on Instagram you'll know that I had an outfit change from my original Glenda the Good Witch. I go with a traditional black witch costume style each year and couldn't miss the opportunity to spice it up again with this look.
